Know More…

This tour begins in Funchal, following the old streets towards the Cristo Rei Statue.

From this viewpoint, we have an excellent panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean, the Garajau Nature Reserve, part of the Bay of Funchal and the Caniço de Baixo.

We will continue our excursion to Santa Cruz, where we will begin the dizzying climb up to the mountains, passing agricultural trails and glimpsing small settlements almost hidden by the rugged terrain.

Along our ascent we will make stops for photos, short walks, enjoy breathtaking scenery, observe some waterfalls, and also, appreciate the scents of nature around.

Arriving at Santo da Serra, one of the oldest cities in the interior, which on Sundays is one of the most traditional markets with local products of local producers, you can buy everything from clothes, utensils, towels, live animals, vegetables and of course the our DELICIOUS tropical fruits growing around here, and local food sold locally as garlic butter with garlic butter at LOCAL PRICES!

Afterwards, we will stop at the Portela viewpoint, located between Porto da Cruz and Machico, to observe one of the most beautiful landscapes of Madeira.

From here we have a great view of the Port of Cruz and the Penha d’Águia, which, although located on the North Coast of the island, belong to the municipality of Machico. We can still see Cortado area in Santana.

Afterwards, we will continue towards Machico, through a cobblestone path, always with excellent views. Before returning to Funchal, we will make a stop to take one or more PONCHAS… Our VITAMINA hehehe
